HAND ROOM to Paris.
In the summer of 2025, HAND ROOM set off overseas for the first time.
Our destination was Paris.
In the summer of 2025, HAND ROOM embarked on its first overseas journey.
The destination: Paris.
How will HAND ROOM's clothes be received in this city where classic and modern coexist and fashion lovers from all over the world gather?
With this thought in mind, I took a step forward quietly, but with a bit of excitement.
HAND ROOM has been creating clothes with the theme of "special clothes for everyday life," working with artisans from all over Japan, with a strict focus on materials, sewing, and comfort.
If we were to bring this to the city of Paris, how would it blend into the scenery?
It is also a journey to reexamine our origins and face the world.
And now, in the coming Spring/Summer 2026, HAND ROOM will celebrate its 10th anniversary since the brand was founded.
We created a special look for this milestone season.
Our model was Hirofumi Kurino, a senior advisor at United Arrows who has been supporting us since the brand's early days.
In this city where classic and modern coexist—and where fashion enthusiasts gather from around the world—we took our first step, quietly yet with a hint of excitement, wondering how HAND ROOM's clothing would be received.
Since its founding, HAND ROOM has pursued the theme of “extraordinary everyday wear,” working with skilled artisans across Japan and paying meticulous attention to materials, construction, and comfort. We've continued crafting garments with care and dedication.
Now, bringing these creations to Paris, we ask ourselves: how will they blend into this cityscape? It is also a journey of reflection—a chance to revisit our origins and present them to the world.
Looking ahead to Spring/Summer 2026, HAND ROOM will celebrate its 10th anniversary.
To mark this milestone season, we have created a special look.
The model is Hirofumi Kurino, Senior Advisor at United Arrows, who has supported us since the early days of the brand.
Kurino, who has been in charge of buying at District UNITED ARROWS for many years, has a natural and elegant appearance that perfectly matches the clothes at HAND ROOM.
It's important to take good care of the parts that cannot be seen.
Patterns designed for comfort, reliable sewing techniques, and carefully selected natural materials.
I think that through Kurino's appearance, the look will allow people to once again feel the "careful manufacturing" that we have always valued.
This exhibition was attended by visitors from various countries.
It was also an opportunity to once again realize the high level of interest in "Japanese brands."
Bringing Japan's meticulous craftsmanship to the world. We are grateful to be able to celebrate this 10-year milestone in Paris, and from here we will take another new step forward.
Mr. Kurino, who has quiet long overseen buying at District UNITED ARROWS, brought a natural elegance and presence that perfectly aligned with HAND ROOM's clothing.
Attention to the unseen details.
Patterns designed for comfort, precise craftsmanship, and carefully selected natural materials—
Through Mr. Kurino's presence, we believe this look captures and conveys the spirit of “careful craftsmanship” that we've always valued.
At this exhibition, we had the pleasure of welcoming guests from many different countries.
It was also a chance to reaffirm the growing interest in Japanese brands on a global stage.
Sharing Japan's craftsmanship with the world—
As we celebrate our 10th anniversary here in Paris, we do so with deep gratitude, and from this moment, we take another new step forward.
