Hello to all HAND ROOM users.


We are pleased to announce the launch of the HAND ROOM blog!
We will be updating the site regularly from various perspectives, including behind-the-scenes information on production and design, and the attention to detail that goes into each item, so please look forward to it.

In the first episode, HAND ROOM director Okada will introduce the brand's appeal and latest information.

This time, we will introduce the collaboration project with AVIREX, which was released at just the right time.

AVIREX × HAND ROOM collaboration

AVIREX is widely known as one of America's most historic military brands. For this collaboration, we have utilized their archives to create clothing that can also be used as everyday wear at HAND ROOM. This lineup is sure to satisfy military fans.

Theme: "FAR EAST BLUE COLLECTION"

All items are unified in indigo, based on the traditional Japanese color "JAPAN BLUE." Taking advantage of HAND ROOM's strengths in domestic production, they are finished to a high quality.

  1. Three items made with indigo denim

    • US NAVY deck coat
    • N-1 Deck Jacket
    • HAND ROOM Cargo Pants

    Instead of regular denim, we use broken denim, which is less likely to twist. The washing process reduces indigo dye residue and adjusts shrinkage. The lining is made of linen quilt, allowing you to enjoy the changes that occur over time.

  2. Herringbone fabric set-up

    • Herringbone Work Jacket
    • Herringbone Work Pants

    This item is made from the same material as 1940s American workwear. The jacket is designed with coveralls in mind, and the pants are tailored based on baker pants. Chain stitching is applied at a factory in Okayama to recreate the atmosphere of work and military wear.

  3. Reversible Deck Vest

    Based on a naval deck vest, this reversible design uses linen quilt and herringbone fabrics. It has been washed to allow the item to change color over time.

  4. chambray shirt

    It features selvedge chambray fabric and cat ear buttons, and incorporates military elements, while the garment is sewn at a factory that specializes in dress shirts.It can be worn in any situation.
